Cast Iron Baked Buttermilk Drop Biscuits

- Preheat oven to 450*
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 Tablespoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/4 cup buttermilk

-Oil skillet or baking sheet

-Stir together dry ingredients in medium bowl

-Cut in butter, mix with hands until mixture appears as course crumbles

-Add buttermilk, stir till mixed

-Drop biscuits onto cast iron skillet, or baking sheet
- Bake about 20 minutes
- Till golden brown

-Enjoy!!
